The Soul of Food and Wine

"I am a Montgomery, Alabama girl to my core. I say that proudly, chest lifted, chin up, with the kind of quiet confidence that a good Sunday dinner gives you." — TauCora DeeDee Johnson

It All Started in Momma's Kitchen

I am TauCora DeeDee Johnson, a Montgomery, Alabama girl to my core. Everything I know about food and wine started in my Momma Nancy's kitchen, where the kitchen was the center of the universe and wisdom was passed like a cast-iron skillet from one set of hands to the next.

I spent fifteen years building a life in the Atlanta area before coming back home to Alabaster, Alabama, about an hour from where it all started. Along the way, I learned that food and wine were never about sophistication or status. They were, and still are, about connection.

Pour yourself a glass. Let's talk about the Soul of Food and Wine.

"That first sip was nothing short of a revelation, deep and velvety, with whispers of dark cherry, cedar, and something almost ancient, like the soil itself had a story to tell." From The Soul of Food and Wine
