Broiled Oysters Rockefeller




Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. of fresh oysters 
  • 1/2 tsp Tony Cachere or Obay seasoning 
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp parsley
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp cilantro
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp. Champagne or Sparkling Wine
  • 2 tbsp. pomegranate red wine vinegar or your favorite vinegar 
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 lemon
Instructions:
  • Preheat broiler to High
  • Mix melted butter, minced garlic and half lemon juice together
  • In a large bowl stir together all the dry seasonings, garlic butter, champagne, vinegar and olive oil.
  • Add oysters to the bowl and toss to coat completely.
  • Place oysters in a baking dish and add parmesan cheese on top 
  • Broil for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Squeeze half lemon on top and sprinkle with additional parsley and cilantro
  • Serve with hot sauce, garlic butter, lemon wedges & a glass of your favorite Champagne cocktail, Enjoy!
