Smothered Turkey Wings
Ingredients:
- 4 - 6 turkey wings
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp seasoning salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 chopped chopped green bell pepper
- 1 chopped red bell pepper
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (optional)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Season the turkey wings with seasoning salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and poultry seasoning.
- Lightly dust the turkey wings with flour. You may not have to use all the flour.
- In a cast iron skillet or frying pan heat vegetable oil.
- Once oil has heated place turkey wings in the hot oil and brown for about 2 minutes on each side.
- Place the browned turkey wings in a deep pan or casserole dish.
- In the same oil sauté your peppers and onions until soft.
- Mix the sautéed peppers and onions in a bowl with the cream of mushroom soup and the cream of chicken soup.
- If you want to thin out the the mixture add chicken broth.
- Spoon the cream mixture over turkey wings.
- Place in 400°F oven for at least 45 minutes. Allow to cool and Enjoy!
