Red Wine Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
Red Wine Marinade:
- 1 cup sweet red wine (Moiselle Red Moscato or wine of your choice)
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 to 2 tbsp of honey (depending on how sweet you want the wings)
- 1 tbsp of hot sauce
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 stick melted butter
Chicken Wings:
- 2 - 3 lbs Chicken Wings
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
- 1 tsp smoke paprika
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp rosemary
Instructions:
Sauce:
- Stir all of the red wine marinade ingredients together in a bowl
- Place wings in a large bowl or large Ziploc bag
- Pour all but 1/4 cup of the marinade over the chicken and refrigerate for at least 2 hours
- Set remaining marinade to the side for basting later
Chicken Wings:
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Combine all of the dry seasoning ingredients together
- Remove the wings from the marinade and let dry for about 30 minutes.
- Season the wings with the seasoning mixture
- Place the chicken wings in a baking dish coated with nonstick spray
- Bake for 45 minutes
- Pour the leftover marinade on top of the chicken and bake for approximately 15 more minutes
- Remove from oven, allow to cool
- Serve with a glass of Red Moscato & ENJOY!
