Red Wine Chicken Wings



Ingredients: 

Red Wine Marinade:

  • 1 cup sweet red wine (Moiselle Red Moscato or wine of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 to 2 tbsp of honey (depending on how sweet you want the wings)
  • 1 tbsp of hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 stick melted butter

Chicken Wings:

  • 2 - 3 lbs Chicken Wings
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp smoke paprika
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp rosemary

Instructions:

Sauce:

  1. Stir all of the red wine marinade ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Place wings in a large bowl or large Ziploc bag
  3. Pour all but 1/4 cup of the marinade over the chicken and refrigerate for at least 2 hours
  4. Set remaining marinade to the side for basting later

Chicken Wings:

  1. Preheat oven to  400°F 
  2. Combine all of the dry seasoning ingredients together
  3. Remove the wings from the marinade and let dry for about 30 minutes.
  4. Season the wings with the seasoning mixture
  5. Place the chicken wings in a baking dish coated with nonstick spray
  6. Bake for 45 minutes
  7. Pour the leftover marinade on top of the chicken and bake for approximately 15 more minutes
  8. Remove from oven, allow to cool 
  9. Serve with a glass of Red Moscato & ENJOY!
