Oven Baked Slow Cooked BBQ Ribs in a Sangria Sauce
Ribs:
- Baby Back Ribs or Country Style Ribs
- 1 tbsp seasoning salt
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 tbsp smoke paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayene pepper
BBQ Sauce:
- 1 cup Red Wine (Velata Sangria or Red Wine of your choice)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/tsp seasoning salt
- 1 tsp smoke paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
BBQ Sauce:
- In a medium sauce pan combine all the sauce ingredients
- Stir and bring to to a boil
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer
- Stir often until sauce has thickened
Ribs
- Preheat oven to 300°F
- Combine all of the dry seasoning ingredients together
- Rub the dry seasoning all over both sides of the ribs
- Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on baking sheet
- Bake for 3 hours
- Remove the ribs from the oven and bast with the BBQ Sauce
- Cook for an additional 10 minutes
- Serve with a glass of Sangria & ENJOY!
