Broiled Oysters Rockefeller
Ingredients : 16 oz. of fresh oysters 1/2 tsp Tony Cachere or Obay seasoning 1/2 tsp sea salt 1 tsp pepper 2 tsp parsley 2 tsp thyme 2 tsp oregano 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 1 tsp cilantro 1 tsp minced garlic 1/2 tsp melted butter 2 tbsp. Champagne or Sparkling Wine 2 tbsp. pomegranate red wine vinegar or your favorite vinegar 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese 1 lemon Instructions : Preheat broiler to High Mix melted butter, minced garlic and half lemon juice together In a large bowl stir together all the dry seasonings, garlic butter, champagne , vinegar and olive oil. Add oysters to the bowl and toss to coat completely. Place oysters in a baking dish and add parmesan cheese on top Broil for 3 to 4 minutes. Squeeze half lemon on top and sprinkle with additional parsley and cilantro Serve with hot sauce, garlic butter, lemon wedges & a glass of your favorite Champagne cocktail, Enjoy!
